The primary purpose of the athletic program at the Warwick Valley Central School District is to promote our students’ physical, mental, social, emotional and moral well-being. The district believes that participation in athletics contributes to a well-rounded education and gives students experiences that help them succeed outside of school. The Warwick Wildcats compete in Section 9 of the New York State Public High School Athletic Association.

Wounded Warrior Project Challenge Coming Up on April 27, Wildcats vs. North Rockland
Warwick Valley High School will host the ninth Annual Wounded Warrior Project Challenge, taking on the North Rockland Red Raiders in most spring sports to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project. The event takes place on Saturday, April 27, starting with an 8:45 a.m. breakfast for the athletes at the WVHS south cafeteria. [Read more …]

Warwick Wildcats Ryan and Dylan Sullivan attended the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) Leadership Conference on March 28 in Albany. The NYSPHSAA conference gathered together the top junior-year student-athletes in New York, with the goal of sharpening their leadership skills and enhancing the positive impact that student-athletes have on their teams, their schools and their communities.
