Scholarships and Awards

The Warwick Valley High School Scholarship Program has been committed to assisting our senior class each year since 1953.

We believe that all of our students should be given every advantage possible to aid in meeting their financial needs as they began their post-high school journey. We encourage all of our seniors to apply to any local scholarship of which they may be eligible.

Many scholarships and their applications are listed below. Printed copies are also available in Guidance, and you’ll find them on spinning racks to the left of the reception desk. Check Guidance and this site often, as new scholarships are continually added. Students, remember to check your school email account for updates. Criteria and deadlines vary.

The WVHS Universal Scholarship Application Packet

A completed Universal Scholarship Application Packet and a Release of Information form is all that is needed to begin the scholarship consideration process. Students only need to complete the packet once.

  • The Application Packet must be typed to ensure accuracy.
  • A Release of Information must be completed for each individual scholarship.
  • Some scholarships require an additional Special Application (available in Guidance), an essay, or letters of recommendation.
  • If letters are required, be sure to give your recommender ample time.
  • The Financial Page must be completed if applying for scholarships in which financial aid is a consideration.
  • Applications are treated as confidential and will only be released to scholarship committees.
  • Note deadlines. Incomplete or late applications will not be processed.
