The primary purpose of the athletic program at the Warwick Valley Central School District is to promote our students’ physical, mental, social, emotional and moral well-being. The district believes that participation in athletics contributes to a well-rounded education and gives students experiences that help them succeed outside of school. The Warwick Wildcats compete in Section 9 of the New York State Public High School Athletic Association.

Warwick hosted North Rockland in most spring sports Saturday April 27th to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project. Wildcats capture overall title at 2024 Wounded Warrior Challenge
This year’s Wounded Warrior Challenge took place on Saturday, April 27. From the moment Wounded Warrior Project speaker Jacob Norotsky addressed the audience, through every competitive matchup, it was an exciting day for all. Overall, the Wildcats prevailed and took the overall title for a third time in four years. Warwick Wildcats Ryan and Dylan Sullivan attended the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) Leadership Conference on March 28 in Albany. The NYSPHSAA conference gathered together the top junior-year student-athletes in New York, with the goal of sharpening their leadership skills and enhancing the positive impact that student-athletes have on their teams, their schools and their communities.
