WVMS winners of AWPL bookmark contest

As part of the celebration of the Albert Wisner Public Library’s Best Small Library in America award, Warwick Valley Middle School students in grades 5-8 and St. Stephen-St. Edward students in grades 5-7 submitted designs for commemorative bookmarks.

The winners of the AWPL Best Small Library in America bookmark contest are these WVMS students:
Maggie Nelsen – Grade 5
Sarah Bender – Grade 6
Avery Prestigiacomo – Grade 7
Gabby Goodman – Grade 8

Each winner will receive a $25 book certificate to Ye Olde Book Shoppe in Warwick.

Also, their bookmarks will be printed and distributed at the AWPL Community Celebration on Sunday, June 12 from 12 noon-4 p.m.

The student bookmark design awards will be presented around 12:30 p.m.
