WVMS students protecting the vets who have protected us

“Thank you for your service.”

That’s the main message behind Warwick Valley Middle School’s recent mask-making project. Students in Home & Careers class picked up sewing skills while making protective cloth facemasks for area veterans. The project was conceived as both a thank you and an effort to help protect the veterans during the pandemic who have protected us through their service to the United States military. 

The masks were briefly on display in the Middles School before being sent off to veterans.
