On March 1, the Youth in Government club joined librarians from the Ramapo-Catskill Library System for their Library Advocacy Day.

This is the twelfth year of partnership between WVHS Youth in Government and RCLS. During their trip to Albany, students observed the lobbying and state budget development process, and enjoyed a tour of the state capitol and museum. New York State Senator John Bonacic and Assemblyman James Skoufis graciously gave their time to the students to discuss important issues facing our state. Students also met with Warwick alumnus Michael Fox, about his experience as an intern with the state legislature.
