WVHS – Positive COVID-19 Case UPDATE 10.25.20

Dear Warwick Valley CSD High School Parents, Guardians, and Staff, 

The District learned today, Sunday, October 25, 2020 that an employee at Warwick Valley High School tested positive for COVID-19. The staff member was last in the school building on Monday, October 19, 2020 within the infectious period. Contact tracing is complete. District administrators have spoken to the students’ parents and staff who are required to quarantine. Working along with the Orange County Department of Health (OCDOH), we take considerable time to confirm that no other person was in direct or proximate contact with the employee during the infectious period.

In consultation with the OCDOH, Warwick Valley High School will remain open. 

To keep all stakeholders fully informed, New York State’s COVID Report Card is available for your review.
