WVHS identified as Recognition School by NYSED
Warwick Valley High School is one of 562 high-achieving and high-progress schools identified as a 2018-19 Recognition School, the New York State Education Department (NYSED) announced on Tuesday, June 18.
Under New York’s Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) Plan, Recognition Schools are those that have high academic achievement, student growth and graduation rate and have made progress during the 2017-18 school year. As a 2018-19 Recognition School, Warwick Valley High School will receive a certificate of recognition from NYSED Commissioner MaryEllen Elia.
