WVHS Drama Club to premiere “Mamma Mia!”

The WVHS Drama Club is thrilled to present the Warwick premiere of the hit Broadway musical, Mamma Mia!

Over 60 million people worldwide have fallen in love with the characters, the story and the music that make Mamma Mia! the ultimate feel-good show!  

Mamma Mia! will be performed on 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 15 and 1 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 16.

Mamma Mia! tells the hilarious story of a young woman’s search for her birth father. This sunny and funny tale unfolds on a Greek island paradise. On the eve of her wedding, a daughter’s quest to discover the identity of her father brings three men from her mother’s past back to the island they last visited 20 years ago.

The story-telling magic of ABBA’s timeless songs propels this enchanting tale of love, laughter and friendship, creating an unforgettable show. A mother, a daughter, three possible dads., and a trip down the aisle you’ll never forget!

Advance tickets go on sale 8 a.m. Feb. 11. Further information regarding obtaining tickets will be released as the show nears.

The production is directed by Nick DiLeo, who is celebrating his 20th anniversary as Drama Club advisor. Joining him are Donna Nestor as producer, Beth Maisonet as choreographer, and Chris Persad and Noreen Hanson as musical directors.
