WVHS chamber orchestra performs with members of the NY phil

Congratulations to the Warwick Valley High School Chamber Orchestra, under the direction of Elissa Maynard, on their outstanding performance on Sunday, October 30 at the Fox Sports Center in Warwick.

The students performed a collaborative concert with members of the New York Philharmonic, sponsored by Community2gether & Fox Sports Center. The Chamber Orchestra opened the concert with two selections — “Drifen” and “Telemann Sinfonia” — followed by the NY Philharmonic Woodwind Quintet.

At the conclusion of the concert, many praised the students on the high quality performance they gave in addition to their poise and professionalism.
