WVCSD recognizes faculty & staff for service milestones
As Warwick Valley students, faculty and staff prepared for their enthusiastic, however atypical, September 8 return to school, administration took time to recognize some of Warwick Valley schools’ longtime faculty and staff members.
In previous years, this recognition would take place in person and amid colleagues during the week leading up to the first day of school. This year, health and safety restrictions unfortunately did not allow for a ceremony. However, Superintendent of Schools Dr. David Leach made his way around the district to personally visit with faculty and staff in their classrooms and offices to celebrate these impressive career milestones.
“I’ve said this before and it is truer now than ever when I see everything that’s been accomplished in preparing for this school year – we will always celebrate and support the work of the dedicated people who make ours a premiere district,” said Dr. Leach. “It was my pleasure and honor to present these service awards, with gratitude on behalf of the entire school community.”
