Wildcats take on Corning-Painted Post Sunday in state basketball tournament
On Sunday, March 13, the WVHS Wildcats Girls Varsity Basketball team will take on Corning-Painted Post in the regional round of the 2022 NYSPHSAA Girls Basketball Championships.
Sunday’s game will tip off at 12:00 p.m. inside the Visions Federal Credit Union Veterans Memorial Arena in Binghamton, New York.
The Wildcats advanced to this weekend’s round on a 46-40 win over Roy C. Ketcham High School on March 8 in Kingston. The team first made it into state tournament play by capturing the 2022 Section IX Class AA Championship, with a 35-24 victory over Monroe-Woodbury at SUNY Sullivan.
