Warwick Valley High School football season officially kicks off on Aug. 27, but for two former Wildcats, the season never ends. Warwick alumni Ryan Darcey (’06) and Dan Orner (’99) continue to have an impact on the highest level of football, both working in unique roles with professional athletes.

Dan Orner graduated from Warwick in ’99, following a record-breaking career with North Carolina and a stint with the Minnesota Vikings, he has used his experiences to help others through the Dan Orner Kicking and Punting Academy. Orner works with the top kickers in the country from the NFL through the top high school prospects on the East Coast.

Ryan Darcey graduated from Warwick in ’06, following a standout career at Fordham University where he was the Bill Tierney Award winner. He spent time coaching in the college ranks before signing on with the New York Jets in 2012.  He continues to climb the ladder in the Jets organization and currently heads the offense and defensive video department, supporting both sides of the ball from a football operations viewpoint.
