WFEL begins new school year as public charitable organization with tax-exempt status

on September 5, 2014

The Warwick Foundation for Excellence in Learning (WFEL) held a ribbon-cutting ceremony in front of the Warwick middle school building on Wed., Aug. 27, to celebrate its recently-granted 501c (3) status. Now, as a public charitable organization with tax-exempt status, all contributions to the foundation are tax-deductible.

This significant achievement will make it even easier to support WFEL’s commitment to raise supplementary funds for initiatives to benefit the students and teachers of the Warwick Valley Central School District.

Be There: Warwick Drive-In, Friday, Sept. 19

Save the Date for WFEL’s next family event at the Warwick Drive-In on Friday night, September 19. There will be a family-friendly movie, new friends to make, and lots of fun at one of the last and best drive-ins in the country!

The mission of WFEL is to promote, enhance, provide and enrich educational, teaching and learning opportunities within the Warwick Valley Central School District.
