Warwick Valley team is raising money for the Special Olympics at the 2022 Hudson Valley Polar Plunge
Members of the WVCSD community are encouraged to help the Warwick Valley Wildcats raise money for the Special Olympics of New York at the Hudson Valley Polar Plunge on Dec. 3, 2022, at Thomas P. Morahan Waterfront Park in Greenwood Lake. You can join the Warwick Valley Wildcats team for the plunge or make a donation to the team at: http://events.nyso.org/
Registration is from 10-11:30 a.m., and the plunge itself is scheduled for noon. The address of the park is 7 Windemere Ave., Greenwood Lake, N.Y. There will be music, fire on the beach, frisbees, hula hoops, playground for the kids, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and more!
All of the money raised through the Polar Plunge helps provide year-round sports training and competition as well as leadership, health and inclusion programs for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
