Today is a Purple D Day

  • WVMS Yearbook and 8th Grade Booster ordering deadline has been extended to Friday, February 15th, Please make sure to order yours ASAP.  If you have any questions or need additional information, please email wvmsyearbookphotos@gmail.com.
  • Reminder – Cell phones, hats, hoodies, ear buds and earphones are to be put away during the day.  Backpacks should be placed in lockers or classrooms.
  • The Media Center is closed every day after school until further notice.
  • Please help us help our animal friends this winter by donating to Dumbledore’s Army S.P.E.W. drive.  See our flyer around school for items that can be donated. All donations should be brought to room B5 by February 15th.  Thank you!
  • Due to high demand, the Middle School Spirit Wear Online Store will be open again one more time for this school year. The online store will be available from Friday, Feb.1st through Friday, Feb.15th. Once all items are printed, they will be packaged and delivered to the school to avoid shipping costs.   • This winter, hundreds of families will be bracing for the cold, taking in the harsh conditions without the warmth of a coat.  Many of us might take the feeling of being wrapped up in a warm coat on a cold winter night for granted, however many families across the United States perceive it as a blessing.  That’s why NJHS will be hosting a coat drive sponsored by “Coats For Our Neighbors”. Please bring in a gently used clean coat and drop it in the box in the Middle School lobby to help those in need.
  • Mrs. Browns lessons are cancelled today.  8 Flex is for violins during period 5.
  • Attention Mrs. Maynard’s morning lessons and 6th grade Flex are cancelled today.  There is no wire choir today after school.
  • Mr. Van de Water’s period 1 & 2 lessons will be cancelled today.
  • The National Junior Honor Society is running a food drive.  Bring in canned foods throughout this week and next week to support a local food bank.  Please put your donations in the box behind the greeters desk.

    Change Makers Club open to all middle schoolers. As part of the Warwick Earth Day Festival for 2019. Changemakers will be creating with recycled materials, teaching elementary students about recycling and making an environmental change- The start date will be announced soon.
  • Angel Bakers: Vanessa’s Cakes Design will provide a free demo of no-bake decorating 6 p.m. Friday, March 15 in the cafeteria. Bake, decorate baked goods and create cards for a deployed soldier. Sign up at https://www.signupgenius.com/go/20f0a4caba82fabfc1-warwick.

Today is a Purple C Day

  • To celebrate Valentine’s Day, we will are holding a competition to see which grade has the most Valentine’s Day spirit! Wear anything with hearts, pink or red. The grade with the most spirit wins!
  • All County orchestra music is available for pick up.  Please see Mrs. Maynard today.
  • Boys Modified Basketball ripped through the Minisink Warriors 60-30..  Untouchable Season! A vs. B game and 8th vs. 7th game today. Be in the gym by 2:40 p.m.
