HAPPENING TODAY

  • ATTENTION SENIORS! The second wave of senior apparel is in! Come pick up your order in Mr. Jacobsen’s room, 161, during lunch as soon as possible!
  • CTEC VISITATION: Signed passes are due today!  Please drop off your signed pass to the Guidance Office today in order to go on the Feb. 21 visit.  See your counselor if you have any questions.
    ALSO, any student who is interested in visiting the WVHS CTEC programs – Criminal Justice, Video Production or Cosmetology on Feb. 22, needs to complete the PINK visitation pass and return to Guidance ASAP.  You can pick up a visitation pass in the Guidance Office.
  • MU ALPHA THETA – Current Members – the deadline to buy a shirt has been extended to the end of the day today.  Please send Mr. Mark a message if you need to access the order form.
    New Members – The applications for Mu Alpha Theta, The National Math Honor Society, are available online.  Please check your student email for more information. All online applications are due Friday, March 1.  No late applications will be accepted.  An informational meeting will be held next week.
  • ATTENTION SOPHOMORES: anyone who is interested in attending the CTE Program visitation on February 21.  The visitation pass must be handed to the Guidance Office by today. Any questions, please stop by guidance.
  • BLOOD DONATION: Any student who would like to donate blood on February 22 should see Mr. Burns in Room 124 to sign up.  Community Service hours will be awarded to those who donate.
  • AP CLASSES: If you are taking an AP class you must register for your AP exams by Feb. 25!  Go to Totalregistration.net/AP/335790 to register.  DO NOT use your school email when registering.  See your teacher or Mrs. Sekelsky in Guidance with any questions.
  • YEARBOOKS need to be ordered by February 26 at Jostens.com.
    Personalized Yearbook need to be ordered by Feb 22.

  • WARWICK FEUD: Surveys for Warwick Feud are available online now at warwickfeud.weebly.com.  Highlights from last year’s competition will be playing in the Media Center today and next week.  A portion of the night’s proceeds will be donated to the charity chosen by the winning team. Please come support a great cause on March 28!
  • DRAMA CLUB – Advance tickets for Mamma Mia! are on sale now and can be reserved by using the online reservation form found on the Drama Club’s website or by calling 987-3050, x22500, and following the directions on the recorded message.
  • NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY: Tutoring is available Tuesdays during lunch and Thursdays after school in Room 134.

COMMUNITY SERVICE

The Greenwood Lake Winter Carnival is this weekend and they need volunteers. Please check your email, the Community Service Board or stop by the Guidance for further information.

  • SADD is selling FlowerGrams today during Unit Lunch in front of the North Cafeteria. Each FlowerGram is $2. Send someone a message to let them know they are special! Supplies are limited, so order yours today!
  • All members of SADD: Please see Mr. Mark during Unit Lunch and after school today to assemble our Flower Grams. Send Mr. Mark a Remind message if you have any questions.
