on May 14, 2015

Each spring, the Warwick Historical Society offers 4th-grade students tours of the town’s historical buildings. This year, students visited Baird’s Tavern, the Hasbrouck Carriage House (behind Baird’s Tavern), the herb garden gehind the 1810 House, Lewis Park and the Old School Baptist Meeting House. The students enjoyed learning about the early 1800’s, salt box architecture, medicinal herbs, toll roads and more, on what turned out to be a beautiful day for a field trip!
