Warwick High School Student Athlete of the Week: Michael Moore

 Warwick High School is proud to select senior Michael Moore as this week’s Bill Garcia Allstate Student-Athlete of the Week.  Michael has played varsity football and is a five -year track athlete (Indoor/ Outdoor Track). He recently won the division title in the long jump with a jump of 20’6”. He is a member of the indoor track 4 X400 meter relay team (Moore, Michelini, Emmerich, and Bekele – Arcuri) that won the 2020 county title at West Point last weekend.                     

            Michael is a top student and carries a weighted academic average of 98.7. He takes a challenge course load that includes advanced placement courses for college credit in Psychology, Biology, Literature, and Government.  He is enrolled in the Orange County Community College Calculus course.   Michael is a member of the National Honor Society and is an Eagle Scout.  He received a Presidential Scholar Nominee and earned a perfect score of 1600 on the SAT exam. Michael’s plans include medical school and pursuing the ivy league for his undergraduate studies.  Michael is the son of Melvin and Helen Moore of Warwick, New York.   Warwick HS is proud to recognize Michael Moore as this week’s Bill Garcia Allstate Insurance Student-Athlete of the Week.
