Welcome to Warwick Valley Middle School’s monthly newscast!

Hello Warwick Valley Central School District! I’m Alex Pack, a seventh-grader at Warwick Valley Middle School.  Welcome to our March 2019 Newscast. Happy Spring. This school year has been great and we’re looking forward to the warmer weather.  Last month, we showed lots of love to our local Veterans with our annual “Valentine’s for Vets” Breakfast. Local Veterans were invited to the Middle School on February 14 for a special breakfast that was cooked by our “home and careers” students. Our Wire Choir and our Guitar Club performed during the breakfast to entertain our Vets. Over 85 Veterans came out that day, and we thank them for keeping our country safe.

Hi I am Isabella Del Salto, a fifth-grader at Warwick Valley Middle School. On Thursday February 28. Upcoming fifth-grade parents attended our fourth going into fifth orientation. My parents were there a year ago, and I can’t believe how quick time has gone. I know that the fourth graders are going to do great as fifth graders in Warwick Valley Middle School.

Hello, my name is Angelo Ricco and I am a sixth-grader at the middle school. Even though spring is around the corner it’s still chilly outside. Not everyone has the proper clothing or food they need to stay healthy. Recently the National Junior Honor Society hosted a coat drive sponsored by “Coats For Our Neighbors”.  Students were asked to please bring in a gently used clean coat and to drop them in the box in the Middle School lobby to help those in need. In addition to this, The National Junior Honor Society was running a food drive.  Students and staff were asked to bring in canned foods to support a local food bank.
