All are invited to view the Warwick Valley Middle School monthly newsletter.

In a creative collaboration with the WVHS Cosmetology and Communications programs, the newsletter has been produced as a video newscast for your viewing enjoyment!

Before filming, HS students in the Cosmetology program prepared the MS student newscasters for the camera with hair styling and makeup.

Each month, a different group of students will record MS news in the high school video production area.

Welcome to Warwick Valley Middle School’s monthly newscast!

Hi, my name is Lane Gorish and I am a 7th grade student at Warwick Valley Middle School. We have officially finished the first quarter of the school year and as I am sure you know we are off to a great start.  As we look back over the first marking period let’s continue to help each other, make adjustments where needed, and keep working hard.  The first quarter was jam packed with events and activities and the second quarter is shaping up to be very busy.

Hello, my name is Brady Judd and I am a 6th grader at Warwick Valley Middle School. Winter sports including boys and girls basketball and wrestling are underway and we are excited to cheer on our teams throughout the winter.  There is a buzz in the air surrounding our sports teams and all of the potential of the upcoming season.  Recently, our fantastic Wire Choir visited and performed at Park Ave on Thursday, November 8 to play for and honor our local Veterans.

Hi, my name is Gianna Anaya, and I am a 5th grader at Warwick Valley Middle School.  Our student senate collected hundreds of goods for our annual Thanksgiving food drive.  Our student senate also collected over 350 dollars for the Susan G. Komen foundation through our annual Pink Out Day!  Students and faculty wore bright pink in support of cancer research.

Hello, my name is Shane Crane, and I am an 8th grade student at Warwick Valley Middle School.   Our students of the month for September and October were celebrated on November 9th with an early morning breakfast and award ceremony.  Students were treated to an assortment of early morning goodies that they shared with their parents and administrators.  This month’s ROAR lesson focused on building positive relationships within our school and social circles.  Students had discussions in each class and reflected on their own positive relationships at the end of the day.  Looking ahead we have the these following events coming up.

Let’s continue to make Warwick Middle School a wonderful place to learn and grow. Be sure to look for our next update in about a month.
