View the Middle School February video newsletter!

on February 1, 2018

Parents are invited to view the Warwick Valley Middle School monthly newsletter.

In a creative collaboration with the WVHS Cosmetology and Communications programs, the newsletter has been produced as a video newscast for your viewing enjoyment!

Before filming, HS students in the Cosmetology program prepared the MS student newscasters for the camera with hair styling and makeup.

Each month, a different group of students will record MS news in the high school video production area.

“Hello, and welcome to Warwick Valley Middle School’s February newscast.

My name is Abigail Glover and I am a 6th grader. We hope that everyone had a wonderful holiday and that 2018 is off to a positive start.

During the first week of January, all students participated in our monthly ROAR Lesson. This month’s lesson focused on the power of a positive attitude. Students and staff were challenged to put together a plan that would help them maintain a positive attitude, despite being faced with a challenge.”

“Hello! My name is Anthony Mazza and I am a 5th grader at Warwick Valley Middle School.

To celebrate ‘No Name Calling Week,’ we held a button making contest. Students were invited to create their own button design promoting this year’s theme of “Blow the Whistle on Name Calling.” Our winners were Mary Jane Lancer and Elaina Schlesinger. Congratulations on a job well done.
