Student-Athlete of the Week: Zackery Bauman

Warwick High School is proud to select senior Zackery Bauman as this week’s Garcia Agency ALLSTATE Student-Athlete of the Week.

The senior Crew Captain competes as a coxswain for the Boys Crew Team. Zack was the coxswain for the Novice 8 boat, which finished first at the Saratoga Springs State Championships.

Zack maintains an overall grade point average of 96.6, which includes college courses in AP Government, AP Literature, AP Biology and Mandarin Chinese for college credit. Zach is a four-year NYSPHSAA scholar-athlete for Crew (the coxswain is the only one in the boat who does not need to be in first year).

Zack is a member of Youth in Government, National Honor Society, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band and the Model UN. He will attend Purdue University in the fall, where he will major in Political Science.

He will also complete the ROTC program at Purdue to commission as an officer in the USMC following his graduation.

Zack is the son of Wayne and Stacy Bauman of Warwick.
