Student-Athlete of the Week: Lauren Fox

Warwick High School is proud to recognize senior Lauren Fox as this weeks’ Bill Garcia Agency ALLSTATE Student – Athlete of the Week.  The senior three-sport athlete (Cross Country and Indoor and Outdoor Track) is part of the Section 9 Indoor Track 2018 Champion 4×800 Meter Relay Team.  Lauren and her Cross Country Teammates were undefeated in dual meets for Cross Country and she was a Section 9 Finalist in the 2000 meter race.  Lauren finished in the top seven this weekend in the 2000 meter steeple chase event at the Orange County Outdoor Track Championships at Warwick High School.         

Lauren is an exceptional student; she maintains a cumulative weighted grade point average of 100.4.  She is a member of the National Honor Society and a volunteer track coach for the Warwick Track Club.  Her classes include Advanced Placement Courses for College Credit in Government, Psychology, University Spanish and Science Research Project.  She will be attending University at Albany next year, where she plans to study Human Biology and Neuroscience.  Lauren is the daughter of Mike and Dee Fox of Warwick, New York.  Her sister Kaitlyn (26) lives in Greenville, South Carolina and her brother Mike (24) lives in the Albany Area.
