Spring Musical Update

Dear Warwick Valley Community,

The Warwick Valley High School Drama Club is scheduled to perform The Drowsy Chaperone this weekend.  As mentioned in recent communications regarding our plan and response to the Coronavirus, the District is currently considering revisions to our practice of hosting large scale gatherings and events at the schools. With this in mind, there have been adjustments made to the scheduled performances of the spring musical.  They are as follows:

• The performance scheduled for senior citizens on Thursday, March 12th has been canceled.
• The musical will be performed on the following dates and times:
  • Friday, March 13th at 7:30 pm
  • Saturday, March 14th at 1:00 pm
  • Saturday, March 14th at 7:30 pm

• All performances are currently Sold Out. No tickets will be sold at the door.
• Only one-third of the occupancy of the seating in the auditorium will be accessible.

The district recognizes the time and commitment of the students and staff involved in this production. While the current situation is not ideal, this compromise to the schedule and the allowable audience has been made with our commitment to extreme caution. Our primary concern is, and will remain, the health and safety of our students, staff, and community.  Please note that, if necessary, we will communicate any new developments and/or changes regarding this situation on the District website.
