On Nov. 9, the WVHS Senior Project class visited Mount St. Mary College in Newburgh to learn how to do collegiate level research.

They also attended a lecture on plagiarism, and were treated to lunch and a campus tour.

The Senior Project classes make this trip each year.

The Senior Project Program is a project based learning program, now in its 14th year.

Students learn 21st century skills needed to succeed in college and the workforce, which include networking, public speaking and collegiate level research.

The Senior Project teachers are Jeanine Fogler and Nick DiLeo, with research assistance by our media specialist Kathleen Turner.
