Registration for Girls Rock STEM Day is March 18-24

This is a free, exciting program for middle school girls in grades 6-8 sponsored by Master Teachers of the Mid-Hudson Region. This year’s Girls Rock STEM Day will be held Sat., April 28, at the State University of New York at New Paltz.
At this annual event, girls will participate in STEM-related activities run by women scientists, educators, and master teachers from the Mid-Hudson.
The event is hosted by the New York State Master Teacher Program-Mid Hudson Region, and one of the co-chairs is Warwick Valley  Middle School science teacher Tracey Waters. One of the workshops will be run by Warwick Valley High School math teacher Lisa Howard, also a Master Teacher, and the keynote speaker is Warwick High School junior Hannah Davis.
Online registration opens at 10 a.m. March 18 and continues through March 24. It’s on a first-come, first-served basis, and spots fill up quickly.
