WVMS 5th grade and 6th grade students perform in 2025 Spring Concert

The Warwick Valley Middle School Music Department hosted its annual spring concerts for fifth and sixth graders on Tuesday, May13, filling the WVHS auditorium with the beautiful sounds of instruments and voices.
More than 600 talented students took the stage and delivered excellent performances by the fifth and sixth grade bands, orchestras and choruses. Families and friends who filled the auditorium were treated to a memorable evening of music in the two concerts.
Fifth Grade Performances
- Band: Triumphant March, Heroes & Glory, Dragon Slayer
- Orchestra: Star Dancer, Rock On
- Chorus: Eneza Upendo, Fly Away Home (solos by Kylie Zeman and Alexa Cummings), If I Were a Fish.
Sixth Grade Performances
- Band: Robin Hood and the Golden Arrow, Song for Peace (solos by Scarlett Lopez, Madeleine Turnbull, Breanne McCabe, Silvia Muto, Rowan Morgenstern, Sydney Tomlinson, Emilia Zalewski and Lia Kimiecik) , At the Hop (featuring solos by Giulia Lepine on flute, Presley Forbes on trombone, Michael Januario on saxophone and Henry Bowman on drum set)
- Orchestra: Rhythm and Blues (featuring Henry Bowman on drum set), Classic Bits and Pieces (featuring the Lunch Bunch Chamber Orchestra), Burst.
- Chorus: We Will (featuring soloist Gia Spadaccini and Stella Muehlbauer on piano), Here Comes the Sun (solos by Tyler Gordon and Fiona Contino). Breakaway.
