Two WVMS students moving on to the regional Scripps s-p-e-l-l-i-n-g bee in March
Warwick Valley Middle School recently held its annual school-wide spelling bees. The two in-school "bees" -- one for 7th grade and one for 8th -- are the first step on a path that ultimately leads to the famous Scripps National Spelling!
During February and March each year, regional partners to the Scripps National Spelling Bee program host competitions nationwide to determine which spellers from their regions will move on to compete in the national contest. OU BOCES is one of those regional partners, and our middle school bee winners will be representing Warwick Valley at the Annual OU BOCES Spelling Bee on March 13.
Congratulations and good luck to Luca Schuler (8th grade) and Desmond Goldstein (7th grade)!
