30 Warwick Valley musicians participate in OCMEA Elementary All-County Fetsival

Thirty talented Warwick Valley students recently earned the honor of participating in the 2026 Orange County Music Educators Association (OCMEA) Elementary All-County Festival!

The three-day event, which included intensive rehearsals on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, followed by a delightful afternoon of performances on Saturday, was hosted at Monroe-Woodbury High School. During festival week, Warwick Valley students rehearsed with their peers from other districts under the direction of accomplished conductors.

The musicians -- in chorus, band, and orchestra -- were selected for their All-County ensembles through a competitive audition process that draws students from across Orange County. The All-County audition process requires students to prepare challenging solo pieces, as well as demonstrate advanced technical and musical skills in playing scales and sight reading before a panel of expert judges. Out of many hopefuls, only those who achieve the highest performance standards are chosen to participate, a significant accomplishment!

Join us in congratulating this year's Warwick Valley All-County participants.
