Senior portrait season begins for the Class of 2027

About 40 members of the Warwick Valley High School Class of 2027 started their senior year by coming to the high school auditorium to pose for senior portraits on Wednesday!

Three photographers arrived early to set up the stage as if it were a professional photo studio, ready to capture the images that will stay with these students and their families as enduring memories. The set-up included three separate photo stations, each with multi-angle lighting and multiple backdrop options. The students arrived for photos in casual clothes, then changed into formal attire for their traditional yearbook snaps.

A particular highlight of the sessions came when students got to have a third picture taken, which meant putting on a graduation cap and gown in Wildcats purple—same as the seniors will wear at their graduation ceremony.

"Wearing this cap and gown makes me want to graduate right now," enthused senior Wyatt Burakowski, who showed up for his photos wearing a jacket and tie decorated with American flags and USA. The added flair for school picture day is nothing new for Wyatt. "Me and my friends, we started started wearing costumes for our school pictures as freshmen."

The Class of 2027 will graduate on June 26, 2027… just 331 days away!
