Warwick Valley celebrates the arts with 2026 Studio Music Grammy Awards

The Warwick Valley High School auditorium was alive with music and celebration on February 13, as the Studio Music Club hosted its 2026 Grammy Awards.

The event, now in its fourth year, showcased the depth of the high school students' (and even some middle school students') musical talent, not to mention their overall dedication to the performing arts program.

The evening kicked off with a heartfelt introduction from WVHS music teacher Elissa Maynard. Ms. Maynard founded the Studio Music Club seven years ago to provide an essential outlet for students pursuing music in more "non-traditional;" ways. Emphasizing music production and audio engineering, the club prepares students for promising careers in the music industry.

The event, modeled after the prestigious Grammy Awards we all know and love, included an array of captivating performances as well as a number of awards across various categories.
