Application deadline for student board rep is May 1, 2025
The Warwick Valley CSD Board of Education is seeking a member of the WVHS Class of 2026 to serve as the Student Representative to the Board of Education for the 2025-26 school year.
The student representative will serve as the voice of the student body, delivering brief reports at board meetings on key issues of importance to the students.
Candidates should possess strong communication and presentation skills.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be a senior at Warwick Valley High School during the 2025-2026 school year;
- Must attend a regular monthly board meeting that is held on a Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. (with exceptions for illness or prior notification of conflicts);
- Must be prepared to present a brief student report at BOE meetings, highlighting topics of importance.
Applicants will participate in an interview process conducted by the Superintendent of Schools and the President of the Board of Education.
