Sanfordville Elementary School holds parade and rally for Special Olympics athletes
The Sanfordville Elementary School community came together for an exhilarating pep rally to celebrate the athletes participating in the 2025 Special Olympics. Our talented athletes, representing grades 3, 4, and 5, were met with enthusiasm and support on Wednesday, May 14th.
As the festivities began, students from kindergarten through second grade lined the hallways, cheering joyfully as our athletes paraded through towards the gymnasium. There, third and fourth graders, along with special education students and staff, gathered to offer heartfelt cheers and applause.
The air was filled with excitement as attendees waved purple and gold flags, displayed PAWS posters, showcased pictures of the athletes, and waved purple and gold pom-poms in anticipation of the upcoming competition on Saturday, May 17, at Goshen High School.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to all the athletes and their dedicated coaches for their hard work and commitment in preparing for this event. We also thank the Sanfordville PTA and SEPTA for their support. Best of luck to our Wee Wildcats!
