Sanfordville Elementary School holds parade and rally for 2026 Special Olympics athletes

Sanfordville Elementary School Special Olympics athletes smile during a pep rally.

The Sanfordville Elementary School community came together on Friday afternoon for parade and pep rally to celebrate the dedicated athletes participating in the 2026 Special Olympics.

Students from kindergarten through second grade lined the hallways to cheer during a celebratory parade, led by the Warwick Wildcat. Then the athletes were introduced in the gymnasium before a cheering crowd of third graders and fourth graders who offered further encouragement before the competition on Saturday, June 6, at Goshen High School.

We extend a sincere thank you to all the athletes and coaches for their exceptional hard work and commitment. Good luck to all of our athletes on Saturday.  Go Wee Wildcats!
