BRAVO, to the Warwick Valley Middle School's eighth grade band, chorus and orchestra, for receiving the top rating of "SUPERIOR" for their performances during the Trills & Thrills festival showcase recently at Neptune High School.

The Trills & Thrills program includes not only the adjudicated showcase at Neptune, but also a visit to Six Flags Great Adventure. Following their performances, school groups head to the nearby theme park to enjoy a day of fun with fellow musicians from other schools.

Needless to say, this is a highly anticipated trip by the students each year.

"We are all so proud of the students for the hard work that went into their performance," said WVMS chorus and general music teacher Shane Peters. "We have more than 180 students who participate in our eighth grade music program, and this is a great way to celebrate their hard work and musicianship!"
