WVCSD holds 2025 Combined Band Concert

Congratulations to the more than 450 student musicians from grades four through 12 who performed so well in the Combined Band Concert before a standing-room only audience in the Warwick Valley High School gymnasium on April 8, 2025.

The concert featured bands from Park Avenue Elementary School, Sanfordville Elementary School, Warwick Valley Middle School and Warwick Valley High School.

For the Fourth Grade Band, with students from both elementary schools, the event was their first time playing together and their first concert. The band was directed by Kaitlyn Mulzet.

WVMS was represented by the fifth and sixth grade bands under the direction of Ryan Muehlbauer and the seventh and eighth grade bands led by Peter Van de Water.

The WVHS part of the concert featured the Jazz Ensemble, the Honors Wind Ensemble and the Concert Band, all under the direction of Megan Shafer.
