Warwick Valley High School's Wildcuts Salon is back for the 2025-26 school year! The talented student-stylists of the WVHS Cosmetology program are ready to welcome clients from the community on select dates. Appointments fill up fast, so be sure to book early! Wildcuts does not accept payment or tips for salon services. However, patrons who would like to express their gratitude through support of the WVHS Cosmetology Program may do so by donating directly to the WVHS Careers & Technology scholarship program.

About Wildcuts
Wildcuts Salon is run entirely by Warwick Valley High School students under the guidance of teacher Kathleen Bettello. The salon is part of WVHS’s Careers & Technology (CTEC) program, which offers students unique opportunities to gain hands-on experience in career fields that interest them before graduation.
At Wildcuts, students put their classroom knowledge into action, offering the community a full range of hair and nail services. Guests not only enjoy quality service, but also help student-stylists sharpen the communication and customer service skills that are so important for their future careers.
Each appointment also helps students’ gain work-based learning hours, giving them a head start on New York State licensing exam requirements. By the time they graduate, Wildcuts stylists are well on their way to becoming licensed cosmetologists and pursuing rewarding careers in the beauty industry.
