Celebrating service anniversaries, introducing new teachers on Superintendent's Conference Day

It was back-to-school eve at Warwick Valley Central School District on Monday, and it was not only a final day of preparation, but also one of celebration, recognizing milestones and welcoming new Wildcats to the school community! 

During a gathering of all Warwick Valley faculty, staff, and administration on Tuesday's Superintendent's Conference Day, many employees were honored for milestone service anniversaries. Awards were handed out by WVCSD Board of Education President Keith Parson, Board members Mandy Blanton, Tara Cruz and Bill Fanos, and Superintendent of School Dr. David Leach.

At the same event, Dr. Leach recognized this year's cohort of new teachers and administrators joining the district. He also thanked everyone who helped welcome them to the district during last week's new teacher orientation. The new Wildcats got to introduce themselves to their colleagues in a fun video, which you can also watch below this story. Dr. Leach was proud to point out that the group of new teachers included a few Warwick Valley alumni.
