There was an autumnal feel in the air this morning as Warwick Valley teams started practicing on the first day of fall sports on Monday, Aug. 18.

"The great weather was helpful as athletes showed their stuff on the fields and the courts in anticipation of an exciting fall," Warwick athletic director and head football coach Greg Sirico said. "Go Wildcats!"

Varsity and junior varsity begin in September, starting with with the boys soccer team hosting Monroe-Woodbury at 4 p.m. on Sept. 2, which is also the first day of school.

Practices for modified sports start on Sept. 3.
