SLIDESHOW: Wildcats honored for exceptional achievements during board of ed meeting 

There was standing room only at Thursday’s Board of Education meeting, as families, teachers and administrators came together to celebrate the outstanding achievements of the Wildcat athletes.

Gregory Sirico, Warwick Valley Athletic Director, recognized 27 student-athletes and one dedicated coach for their phenomenal performances this season, including multiple NYS champions, All-Americans, WV record holders and OCIAA Scholar-Athletes.

“The students at this meeting exemplify the best qualities of our student-athletes, and they are on the path to great achievements,” Mr. Sirico said.

• Connor Holland - WVHS Record Holder, 200-yard IM & 100-yard Backstroke, Varsity Swimming
• Boys 4x200m Relay Team - WVHS Record Holders: Luke Beattie, Logan Conley, Isaiah Gonzalez, Thomas Ronan, Ryan Sullivan
• Girls Varsity Basketball - Section XI Class AA Champions, Class AA Semi-Finalists
• Olivia Martino - 2025 OCIAA Scholar-Athlete of the Year (Softball)
• Brady Judd - 2025 OCIAA Scholar-Athlete of the Year (Wrestling)
• Michael Miller - 2025 NYS Class A Football Scholar-Athlete of the Year
