Pole vaulters Luke Beattie and Rachel Venter are All-Americans

Warwick pole vaulters Luke Beattie and Rachel Venter are not only No.1 in their events in New York State, they are also among the best in the country. Both earned All-America status at the Nike Indoor Track and Field Nationals last weekend at the Armory.
Luke placed second by clearing 16 feet, eight inches. Rachel placed fifth with a vault of 12-4.5.
