The premiere of a powerful new documentary film chronicling the unforgettable journey of the 1984 Warwick Valley Wildcats varsity football team will have its premiere on Saturday, May 9 at 6:00 pm at Flagship Premier Cinema (34 Millpond Pkwy in Monroe)!
The film, entitled The Season That Changed Us: The Warwick Wildcats 1984 brings together alumni, community members, and sports enthusiasts to celebrate one of the most iconic seasons in local sports history. Through archival footage, personal interviews, and behind-the-scenes storytelling, the documentary brings to life a remarkable era that continues to inspire generations of Wildcats.
Many of the former players, including Warwick Valley's own Athletic Director, Gregory Sirico, help narrate the story with a compelling perspective that bridges past and present. The premier will serve as a celebration of the championship team and a tribute to the enduring spirit, pride, and unity that defined the 1984 season.
