The show is 7 p.m. May 19 at Warwick Valley High School. Students from Monroe-Woodbury, Newburgh, Middletown, Goshen, Chester, Minisink Valley, Washingtonville, Pine Bush, Warwick Valley, and Cornwall are set to perform. The goal, said student organizer Colleen O’Brien, a Warwick Valley senior, is to bring students from different communities together to develop new friendships and collaborate rather than compete against each other.
“It’s an opportunity to collaborate as a community of students showcasing their talent and bonding over what they have in common, a love for music and Orange County,” Colleen said. “One, The Concert” is her senior project.

The talented student musicians will perform music from a range of genres, including classic rock, indy, country, rap, and everything in between.
The Orange County Arts Council is dedicated to meeting the growing need for local arts advocacy and serving as a county-wide arts resource. “Music has always been the universal language and the Orange County Arts Council is proud to be part of an event that uses music to make connections and bring people together.” said Executive Director Dawn Ansbro.
Tickets ($5 for students with a student ID; $10 for adults) are available at the door or by visiting the Orange County Arts Council’s website
