Warwick Valley High School is proud to honor Davis Brief as this week’s Student-Athlete of the Week sponsored locally by Allstate Insurance Bill Garcia Agency.

The senior football standout has verbally committed to Dartmouth where he will play football for the Ivy League powerhouse.

Brief is New York State’s top kicker/punter, kicking 95 percent of his kickoffs into the end zone and averages more than 45 yards per punt.

Davis is a two-time Eastbay All American, All State Kicker and Section 9 All Star. He was recently selected to the Section 9 Exceptional Senior Game to be played November 23. Davis is a five-time Varsity Letter winner for football, beginning his varsity career in 8th grade.

Davis is a high honor roll student who maintains a 4.0 (95.0 or higher) grade point average with a schedule that includes many challenging courses, including AP Calculus, AP Physics and AP Government as a senior. He is a National Honor Society Member and part of the Marching Band. He has been recognized by the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) as a scholar–athlete for football and chose Dartmouth over Cornell, Columbia and Duke.

He is the son of Jane and Eric Brief of Warwick, and brother of Spencer (Class of 2014), also a standout student–athlete for the Wildcats.

On behalf of Allstate Insurance Bill Garcia Agency, Warwick Valley High School is proud to recognize Davis Brief as Student-Athlete of the Week.
