Notice regarding Kings Estates bus delays on April 4

Two Kings Estates buses picking up Park Avenue students were significantly delayed on Thursday, April 4. At approximately 8:10 a.m. Warwick Police responded to what turned out to be a false report. As a result, access roads to Kings Estates were temporarily closed.

Bus routes 25 and 27 were unable to access Kings Estates until 8:45 a.m., at which time they picked up students and completed their routes.

Due to the serious nature of initial police reports, it was necessary for the District to wait until law enforcement assessed the situation and provided clarity before sharing information.
