It’s a time for looking ahead and planning for the future. If your students’ plans include college, or college is being considered as an option, we have a program that you won’t want to miss.

“College Kickoff” is an opportunity for you to learn about the college application and admissions process, and how you can best help your student make a game plan to emerge victorious in their college quest.

Please join the Warwick Valley High School Guidance Department for an informational evening about college applications, admission & more!

Thursday, September 28 (Back to School Night)

  • 5-6 pm – College Kick Off for parents/guardians of current seniors and juniors
    HS Auditorium
  • 6-8 pm – Back to School Night
Topics to be discussed include:
  • How the WVHS guidance counselors and the guidance office works with your student in the application process.
  • Official Transcripts and Letters of Recommendation
  • Using Naviance during your search and application process
  • The Common Application and FERPA
  • NCAA clearinghouse information
  • Helpful Resources and other important issues

This is your chance to get a play-by-play understanding of what your student will be facing in the coming months, and how to support them during the process.

You’ll also have the opportunity to ask questions about college, and about the information that’s covered during the evening.

We’re excited about College Kickoff and hope to see you there!

Feel free to call our office with any questions – 987-3050 x12600.
