Important holiday calendar reminders
As we prepare to observe the Thanksgiving holiday this week, the District would like to remind everyone of the following days off in November and December.
Please note the addition of December 22 as a day off for students, as explained below.
Thanksgiving Recess
The District will be closed on Thursday, November 25, and Friday, November 26 for Thanksgiving Recess.
Winter Recess + Superintendent’s Conference Day
(December 22, 2021)
The WVCSD Board of Education approved a revision to the student calendar during its November 4, 2021 meeting.
Wednesday, December 22, 2021, will now be a Superintendent’s Conference Day. There will be no school for students on this day. Schools will be open for faculty and staff.
The District will be closed Thursday, December 23, 2021 through Friday, December 31, 2021, for Winter Recess.
School will resume in full on Monday, January 3, 2022.
