“Hate in Our Community” town hall meeting to be held on Dec. 6

Flyer for anti-hate town hall meetingA town hall meeting to discuss ways to combat anti-Semitism, bigotry and hatred will be held on Wed., Dec. 6 at 7 pm at the Newburgh Armory Unity Center, S. William St., Newburgh.

Hate and distrust toward groups based on their religious, social or cultural identity in our communities is growing.

Take part in this “town hall meeting” with the Times Herald-Record, the Jewish Federation of Greater Orange County and a panel of religious and community leaders to combat anti-Semitism, bigotry and hatred. Mr. James Yap, WVCSD Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum & Instruction, will be a member of the panel.
