“Guiding Good Choices” free program – date change: now begins March 22

on February 22, 2017

Parents can be a great defense against adolescent substance abuse and other problem behaviors.

Partnering with the WVCSD, the Warwick Prevention Coalition will offer a FREE 5-week series to help parents build the skills to guide their children toward better choices-even up to 10 years after the program ends!

The program is designed for parents of children ages 9-14, and will take place on Wednesdays: March 22, 29, April 5, 19, 26 (snow date May 3) from 6-8 pm.

Staff from Coalition partner the Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Council will provide skill-building activities for children while their parents attend the series.

Materials for the Guiding Good Choices program are provided through a generous donation by the Warwick Lions Club, another Coalition partner.

To register, contact Annie Colonna at the Warwick Valley Community Center, 845-986-6422, ext. 4 or email anniecolonna11@gmail.com.
